What is it?The InnTeck Low Friction Cartridge Seal kit replaces the stock cartridge rod seals and airdivider piston seals in the new Showa SFF TAC Fork.Why?The new Showa SFF TAC Fork features many internal seals and 5 of the 6 seals are subject tovery high pressure. High pressure on a seal results in a tighter seal and therefore much moreseal drag (friction) when compared to other production forks.How?InnTeck utilized world class Italian bearing and seal manufacturer SKF’s expertise in creatingreplacement seals that feature less seal drag (friction) and also seal better. This wasaccomplished by using an SKF proprietary seal material and improved seal design. Doing soallowed InnTeck to accomplish better sealing capabilities, less drag, and being able to use 1seal in place of 3. Therefore eliminating two points of seal drag!Results:The decreased fork seal drag (friction) makes for a better performing and smoother feelingfork.
